Kyla is an alumna of Florida Future Problem Solving where she competed in Global Issues Problem Solving and began evaluating while still in high school. During her time at Ursinus College pursuing her BA in International Relations and French, Kyla evaluated for Florida and Pennsylvania and began evaluating GIPS and Scenario Writing at the International Conference. In 2007 she completed her MA in Political Science at Arizona State University. While in Arizona she continued her involvement with FPS by serving as the Arizona Evaluation Director and a member of the FPSPI Board of Trustees.

Having been involved with FPS since elementary school, Kyla cannot imagine her world without FPS. She has served not only as an evaluator, but a coach and evaluator trainer, Future Scene writer, and competition coordinator. Of all her FPS memories she most treasures the lasting relationships amongst her “FPS Family”. She is motivated by the excitement and engagement that FPS brings to the students learning the creative process, but also the coaches, parents, and evaluators that support these students.
